A geothermal energy operator with a 57-well asset portfolio approached SPD to design and implement a fit-for-purpose Well Integrity Management System (WIMS). The operator’s existing processes lacked the structure, data visibility and reporting capability needed to manage integrity proactively — creating both compliance exposure and unnecessary maintenance cost.

SPD’s Approach

SPD conducted a structured audit and gap analysis of existing well integrity arrangements, mapping current-state processes against industry standards and regulatory requirements. From this baseline, SPD designed and configured a tailored WIMS that centralised all well data into a single, accessible platform. SPD also delivered hands-on in-house training for the client’s well services team.
