SPD recently completed a feasibility Study into Integrated Seismic Acquisition, Processing and Interpretation of a permit onshore New Zealand. There is a lot of new technology available which can considerably reduce costs and risks for acquiring quality data. SPD were able to identify a novel solution to seismic acquisition which significantly reduced the Operators costs by approximately 45%. This technology has applications not just in oil & gas but also geothermal fields.
